Protectapeel is trusted by top U.S. and European boat manufacturers, including Hatteras, Fairline, Sunseeker and Ferretti. Protectapeel provides the best defense against potential damage to a variety of surfaces, whether the yacht is being transported or entering a ship yard period.
Protectapeel: 785-1
This waterproof coating is the ideal product for the marine industry. Unlike most strippable coatings, it won’t disintegrate with moisture or bake on with extreme heat. Protectapeel: 785-1 forms an amazingly tough, skintight seal that prevents dirt and moisture from reaching the protected surface. In addition, because this product is waterproof, it will last up to twelve months outdoors when applied according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Protectapeel: 785-1 is widely used to protect boat molds, gel coats, decks and fiberglass. It’s especially important for those vessels that remain outdoors for the duration of the job or transportation process. Just peel away when the job is complete and the surface will be unharmed.
The color of this coating is blue, however other colors may be available upon request. It is non-toxic and non-flammable in the wet state and one gallon will cover up to 100 sq. ft. A dry film thickness of 4-6mm is recommended for all applications and will dry in approximately 2 hours.
Protectapeel: 785-3
This weather-resistant coating is not only waterproof, but it also includes a UV Inhibitor, making it ideal for glass windows. Protectapeel: 785-3 is widely used in both the marine and construction industries. Unlike conventional self-adhesive films, this coating will follow the surface contours giving complete skintight protection and will remove easily leaving no adhesive residue. The strong rubbery coating is formulated to give UV resistance for several months and will not delaminate prematurely. In addition, it is a clear, transparent coating, which allows natural light to pass the windows during construction or manufacturing.

Protectapeel: PC100
Largely used in the construction industry, this special coating is water soluble and grey in color. Protectapeel: PC100 is used mostly indoors on all non-porous surfaces, including acrylic surfaces. This coating is easily applied using a lamb’s wool roller to the recommended dry thickness of 4-5mm. It also protects plastic and painted surfaces against abrasion and staining. The dry film can easily be removed either by hand or pressure washing. Protectapeel: PC100 should not be used on non-coated or untreated wood.
