By wrapping your boat before loading at the convenience of your marina your boat will be protected before the Shipping Companies crew step aboard, protecting your decks and painted surfaces. "Boat Skin" allows you to handle lines, fenders and maneuver without constraints. Upon arrival at your destination simply remove and washdown.
The main reason KB Yachts developed the "Boat Skin" Shrink Wrap was from feed back from Captains, Owners and the Shipping Companies.
As not all boats could be wrapped onboard the ship on loading day due to bad weather (wind and rain) and the ever constant change in
ships schedules. Now our customers have peace of mind knowing that their boat is shrink wrapped before loading, without worrying about
the weather on loading day. The Shipping Companies are also happy with boats being wrapped in this manner as they can now freely walk around
the boat without damaging decks, also we are not underfoot of the Shipping Company crew.
Prior to wrapping the "Boat Skin" way Yachts would normally be enclosed in a complete shrink wrap tent aboard the ship on loading day depending on the weather. This creates problems for the Transport Company's Deck Crew as they would be unable to move around on the yacht to properly attach strapping, and many times the shrink wrap would have to be cut open to access the cleats. This makes it more likely for the shrink wrapping to come off as there would be a large hole in the material allowing the wind to tear it apart. So make the smart decision and have your boat shrink wrapped the "Boat Skin" way.

TRANSPORTING BY LAND
Transporting your boat North?
By shrink wrapping your boat prior to shipping it will be protected from
small stones and road grime ensuring your boat is factory clean upon arrival. Shrink wrap also acts as another
level of theft prevention.

STORAGE
If your leaving your boat in storage or behind your house for a long period of time, I suggest you have
your boat shrink wrapped.
As Shrink Wrapping will protect against the harsh Florida sun, dirty rain and bird droppings. So when the time comes to go boating again simply remove the shrink wrap.
Zippered doors for easy access and vents to prevent mildew can be added.
YARD PERIODS
The thought process when entering the yard period should be that of repairing existing problems not creating new ones, like added expenses from
shipyard hazard's: over-spray, scratches and foot traffic. Shrink Wrap can save you time and expense by protecting expensive paint work,
cap rails, windows and decks.
